Member Resources
The Bell Wood Shop is a welcoming community for all things wood, but even the friendliest spaces need some rules. The basic tenants of common courtesy apply along with requirements to pay your dues on time, monitor at least once a month, and obey any rules the board enacts.
-
Monitors are an important part of the shop. Required by RCSC to remain open, they ensure the shop operates safely, are there to help with equipment, and help maintain shop cleanliness. Members are required to monitor at least once a month if they wish to use the shop.
-
The Bell Wood Shop community is an important part of why we choose it for our creative workspace. Woodworking is messy, friendships shouldn't be. We all need to keep The Shop clean for ourselves and the people we share it with.
-
Before starting your woodworking journey all members are required to take an orientation class covering the use of the equipment, safety requirements, cleaning responsibilities and monitoring duties.
